The costs and safety issues involved in getting people out to unmanned platforms for maintenance and routine checks are prohibitively high. Energy companies are therefore looking for reliable compressors which can be remotely operated and have very little downtime. For this purpose, MAN Energy Solutions has developed the HOFIM™ (High-Speed, Oil-Free Integrated Motor) hermetically sealed compressor. A lubrication-free process gas centrifugal compressor, the HOFIM™ is also used in subsea operations.
Our smart service concept makes full use of the benefits of data analysis and digitization. Downtimes and maintenance are kept to an absolute minimum and become predictable events. Operated from the shore, this compressor makes your operations safer. What's more, to counteract the risk of corrosion inside the machine, all components are designed to be as robust as possible.
