CIIE is the first national level exhibition with global import as the theme,  which is planned, proposed, deployed, designed and promoted by President Xi Jinping. Since it was first held in 2018, President Xi has delivered keynote speeches at the opening ceremony of the CIIE for five consecutive years, profoundly explaining China's position and proposition of firmly supporting economic globalization. More than 280 of the world's top 500 and industry leading enterprises, 145 countries, regions and international organizations participate in the 5^th  CIIE.

This year, MAN ES participants in the Sino-Danish Green Cooperation Pavilion of the Fifth CIIE as exhibitor. The Sino-Danish Green Cooperation Pavilion was launched and co-sponsored by the Danish Embassy in China and the Danish Federation of Industries. With the topic of “ Danish-Sino Green Transition”, the purpose of the pavilion is to showcase the application and development potential of Danish green solutions in China, promote broader and deeper cooperation in the green field between the two countries, make contributions to China's green development, especially the realization of the "dual carbon" goal, and work together to lead the global green transformation and go to a carbon neutral future.

Besides MAN ES, there are other eight well-known Danish enterprises participated in the Danish Pavilion to show the progress of China-Denmark cooperation projects and jointly discuss measures to accelerate net zero emissions, namely Maersk, Danfoss, Desmi,  Hempel, Kamstrup, Nordiq, Seals and Rockwool.

In this CIIE, MAN ES mainly demonstrated the marine two-stroke engine and ETES (electric thermal energy storage) heat pump technology. MAN two-stroke dual fuel engines are the industry leaders for fuel flexibly and reliability, making it possible for us to decarbonize shipping. ETES is a combined cooling, heating and power system based on heat pump cycle, which is a green and future-ready leading heating technology.

Another highlight of the CIIE is that MAN PrimeServ Marine & Power signed a three-year spare parts purchasing frame agreement with CCCC Dredging (Group) at the exhibition. With the development of China's "the Belt and Road Initiative", CCCC Dredging (Group) has gradually become the largest dredging company in the world, and is moving towards becoming a world-class dredging, ecological environmental protection and marine industry group with global competitiveness based on technology, management and quality. This cooperation is the witness of friendly cooperation and win-win results of CCCC and MAN Energy Solutions over the years. MAN Energy Solutions will continue to provide Chinese customers with excellent service solutions and professional technical expertise.
