With this data protection notice, we provide you with information in how we handle personal data and which personal data we process when you visit this website.

The purpose of this and other websites is to provide you with information about selected companies of the MAN Group.
The following information does not apply to companies that MAN Energy Solutions does not own or control, and does not apply to people that MAN ES does not employ or instruct.

a) Simple navigation on the website
When you visit our website, our web servers save your IP address used for access, as well as the date and time of the visit as standard.

When using our web applications, (e.g. machine configurator), information that is required to use this application effectively may also be saved (language, session ID, configurator step, selected data within the configurator).
c) Registration using online forms
Other personal data, as for example your email, is only collected if you provide it to us voluntarily, and as far as this is required for the respective purpose, for example, as part of a registration, a subscription, a questionnaire or a competition.
d) Use of cookies
We use various cookies on our websites to provide you with a better and more personalized service. Cookies are small files containing configuration information that is stored on your terminal device. The processing of functional cookies is necessary to enable you to visit the website and we process this type of cookies based on our legitimate interest.

4. Transfer of personal data to third countries
Where your information is transferred outside of the European Economic Area (EEA), we take the steps to ensure a high level of data protection.
For that, data protection agreements have been concluded with all data-receiving companies of the MAN and Volkswagen Group and where we transfer personal data to affiliated companies or service providers outside the EEA, the transfer may only take place if the third country has been confirmed by the EU Commission to have an adequate level of data protection or if other appropriate and sufficient data protection guarantees (e.g. EU standard contract clauses) are in place.
5. Data storage and deletion
Personal data shall be kept for as long as is necessary for the purposes of processing or otherwise to the extent permitted by applicable laws.

MAN Energy Solutions protects your data by means of technical and organizational security measures against accidental or premeditated manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons. Our security measures, such as data encryption, are regularly improved in accordance with technological development.
8. Links to other websites
Our website may contain links to other websites. MAN Energy Solutions has no influence of any kind on the content of the linked websites and is not able to monitor these on an ongoing basis. Therefore MAN Energy Solutions assumes no liability for the content of linked websites and this data protection agreement does not apply to the linked websites of other providers.
9. Reservation
MAN Energy Solutions may adapt this declaration concerning data protection at any time while adhering to the provisions of the data protection legislation.
