Notification for processing of personal data of candidates for employment in MAN Energy Solutions Bulgaria EOOD

This Notice for Processing of Personal Data ("Notice") is addressed to each candidate for a job in "MAN Energy Solutions Bulgaria" EOOD, VAT 200524930, with headquarters and address of management in the Republic of Bulgaria, Varna District, Varna Municipality. Varna, P.O. Box 9000, Odessos District, ul. "Alexander Dyakovich" No 7, fl. 5, office No. 1 (hereinafter referred to as the "Company").

 

Who is the data controller?
The purpose of this notification is to provide information to each job applicant, as a data subject, about the processing of his personal data by the Company, as a personal data controller. The notification is provided in accordance with Regulation (EU) 679/2016 (General Data Protection Regulation).

What personal data is processed by the Company? 
During the selection process, personal data about your identity, qualifications, skills and experience are processed, which allow us to assess your eligibility for the position and enable us to contact you. 

The company processes the following categories of personal data of job applicants:

  • Identification data, such as: name, surname and surname; PIN; gender; Images; citizenship and nationality; date and place of birth; permanent address, etc.;
  • Contact details, such as: correspondence address; contact phone;  e-mail address; country of residence; password; 
  • Social identity data, such as: data on type and level of education; qualification; work experience and professional experience; driving license data (if necessary); information about courses; Trainings; Specializations; Qualifications; previous employer; test data (if necessary); interview data.

Your personal data will not be subject to automated decision-making, including profiling, unless and when the Company further notifies you thereof.

 

How is your personal data processed?
Your personal data is processed in order for the Company, as an employer, to assess your qualifications as a candidate for a particular position, to decide whether to hire you and, if you are approved as a candidate, to introduce you to a position and conclude a work contract with you, as well as to be able to communicate with you during the selection process. 

In view of the above purposes, the Company processes your personal data on the basis of Article 6, para. 1. (b) of Regulation (EU) 679/2016 (General Data Protection Regulation).  

 

Is your personal data shared with third parties?
Under certain circumstances and in accordance with the law, the Company shares your personal data with third parties, such as MAN Energy Solutions SE, Germany, which is the sole owner of the controller, and external consultants providing legal, accounting, IT, and other services to the Company, and, in cases provided for by law, to state authorities. 

The Controller does not provide your personal data in countries outside the EU and EEA. 

 

How is your personal data protected?
As a personal data controller, the Company maintains physical and electronic technical and organizational measures and procedures to ensure the protection of the confidentiality, integrity and availability of your personal data. Appropriate security measures have been adopted against unlawful or unlawful processing of personal data and against accidental loss or damage to personal data. 

 

For how long does the controller store your personal data?
In view of the purposes and applicable legal requirements, the Company processes your personal data for a period not exceeding 6 months from the moment of the final completion of the relevant recruitment and selection procedure, unless a candidate has given his consent to storage for a longer period

 

What are your rights as a data subject?
As a subject of personal data, you have the following rights: 

  • The right to request access, rectification or deletion of your personal data; 
  • Right to data portability; 
  • The right to object to the processing of your personal data in certain cases.

You can exercise these rights at any time by submitting a written application to the person referred to in "Questions?" below. 

You also have the right to file a complaint with the Commission for Personal Data Protection in case of violation of your rights as a data subject.
