Martin Oetjen has been a member of the Executive Board of MAN Energy Solutions since 1 August 2020 and is responsible for the Supply Chain and Production divisions.

Martin Oetjen was born in Buchholz in der Nordheide, Germany, in 1968. He is married and father of three children. He studied mechanical engineering in Braunschweig, Johannesburg and Brisbane.

He began his career in 1996 as Human Resources Officer at the former MAN Nutzfahrzeuge AG and has since held several management positions in the areas of human resources, production and purchasing. In April 2009, he became Chairman of the Board of MAN Nutzfahrzeuge GmbH Poland and plant manager of MAN Truck & Bus in Munich in February 2011. In May 2012, he joined MAN Energy Solutions in Augsburg as Head of Business Unit Production and became Head of Business Unit Engine & Marine Systems in April 2015. In January 2020, he was appointed Executive Vice President for Supply Chain Management and Production at MAN Energy Solutions.
