_{As Controls Commissioning Engineer your responsibilities are:}

• _{^{Specialist engineer for commissioning of instrumentation and control}}
• ^{_{Able to perform other basic commissioning activities}}
• ^{_{Identify main components of the equipment / system and explain the working / function principle of these parts}}
• ^{_{Read and understand PID`s, drawings and wiring diagrams}}
• ^{_{Supports the customer in all questions related to supplied control systems and instrumentation and their integration in plant controls}}

• _{Hot Commissiong of new built or overhauled rotating equipment}

• _{^{Complete commissioning of installations, including completing of all relevant inspections and checks, liaison with the client and the MAN project managers, and handover of the installation to the customer at completion of commissioning.}}

  _{You can help us with these qualifications ^:}

• ^{_{Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Mehcanical engineering or related discipline.}}
• ^{_{Minimum of 3 years turbomachinery controls commissioning experience}}
• ^{_{Commissioned or re-commissioned > 1 different types of control systems}}
• ^{_{Good understanding in rotating machines and  technical drawings.}}
• ^{_{Advanced analytical thinking, independent, punctual, resolute, hands-on mentality, can handle stress and difficult situations in a calm manner.}}
• ^{_{Good communication skills and understands in English in conversation with clients subcontractors and other staff at site.}}
• ^{_{Extensive knowledge and experience of relevant commissioning of electro-mechanical, instrumentation, control systems and pressurized systems}}
• ^{_{Hands-on knowledge of DCS, PLC systems and programming of ladder logic, function block or other PLC’s programming language and with good understanding in technical drawing.}}
• ^{_{Commissioned the control system of at least four different auxiliary systems (Lube oil, Control oil DGS etc.) together with the mechanical commissioning engineer.}}
• ^{_{Good interpersonal and communication skills.}}

Your qualifications will help us:

• Master’s degree in Automation, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering
• 5–8 years of proven experience in automation technology, preferably in plant engineering and control systems for Oil & Gas
• User knowledge of explosion protection (ATEX/IECEX, NEC) is an advantage
• User knowledge of functional safety is an advantage
• Familiarity with PCS7, S7, Allen Bradley, Bently Nevada, and COMOS is an advantage
• Knowledge of cybersecurity is an advantage
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); German is a plus
• Experience in handling international projects in interdisciplinary teams
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally

Your Responsibilities

• Promote and sell marine propulsion solutions across various segments: offshore, tugs, merchant marine, ferries, and navy
• Submit quotations in line with both technical and commercial requirements and internal company policies
• Build and maintain relationships in the shipbuilding, ship-owning, and ship design sectors, with a primary focus on Navy and Governmental clients
• Represent and promote four-stroke marine products throughout the Middle East and Northern Africa to shipyards, shipowners, and design offices
• Educate the market on technological and ecological advancements of our products
• Maintain connections with relevant suppliers and regulatory authorities
• Collaborate with Group Communications for local press coverage (e.g., trade magazines, financial press)
• Identify new market opportunities and trends; communicate insights to headquarters
• Act as a customer contact point for four-stroke marine matters, including order processing, technical discussions, and kick-off meetings
• Gather customer inquiries and technical requirements
• Coordinate internal quotations and responses
• Manage offer submission, follow-up, and ongoing communication
• Organize appointments and visits with customers and internal teams
• Maintain project planning data and CRM entries
• Collaborate with global Sales Managers and PrimeServ on cross-regional sales and aftersales efforts

Your Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering

• Strong understanding of the MEA marine sector

• Analyze enquiry / project requests for proposals, understand / interpret customer requirements, develop and submit responsive proposal documents to potential customers in accordance with departmental guidelines, business unit targets and the instructions of the Head of Tendering (SMGOT).
• Develop an accurate and comprehensive scope of work description in consultation with the customer to determine costing input requirements.
• Work in coordination with International Group Companies (IGC) Support department, local contacts and other after sales colleagues to identify cost inputs for specific categories such as spare parts, local labor rates, etc., used in developing the project offer budget.
• Keep the Head of Tendering in the  (SMGOT) informed about the development and progress of the projects under the Tendering Manager’s responsibility.
• Register new enquiry information and maintain project status information within CRM system for periodic management reports
