Service Coordinator

What are you going to do?

 

The Service Coordinator will provide essential administrative support to the Technical Service Department, ensuring efficient operations and coordination among service engineers and service coordinators. This role involves managing documentation, scheduling, resource allocation, and KPI tracking to enhance the department's productivity and service quality.

As Service Administrative Coordinator your tasks are:

Administrative Support:

  • Manage and maintain departmental records, files, and databases.
  • Prepare and distribute reports, memos, and correspondence.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and meeting materials.

    Scheduling and Coordination:

  • Maintain and update the department's calendar to ensure timely execution of tasks and projects.

    Resource Allocation:

  • Assist in the allocation and tracking of resources, including tools, equipment, and spare parts.
  • Coordinate with service coordinators to ensure the availability of necessary resources for service tasks.

    Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of service activities, customer interactions, and resource usage.
  • Generate and analyse reports to support decision-making and improve service efficiency.

    KPI Tracking and Follow-Up:

  • Monitor and follow up on predefined department Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of KPI reports to the service manager and team.
  • Identify areas for improvement based on KPI analysis and support the implementation of corrective actions.

    General Office Duties:

  • Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, managing mail, and maintaining office equipment.
  • Support the service manager and other team members with various administrative tasks as needed.

    You can help us with these qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration or related fields are a plus

Turbocharger Technician –  Fujairah

Sales Coordinator is responsible for managing and improving information flow from customer enquiry to final customer payment. The job holder will be assigned to handle mainly the customer orders and to finalize it on time to ensure accurate invoicing and cash flow. As Turbocharger Technician you:

  • Maintenance, repair and execution of all MAN Diesel Turbocharger activities.

Service Department Assistant & Logistics Officer –  Fujairah

  • Prepares NOC letter for job related travels
  • Books LPO travel reimbursements
  • Prepares Travel Security form for jobs carried out in restricted countries
  • Logistics for transportation of tools and spares.
  • Assists for service related quotation/invoicing
  • Does Travel Arrangements for service staff, NOC letters as when required outside the company standard working/business hours.
  • Responds to urgent situations in arranging job related travels of service personnel, preparation of NOC letters when on vacation and Public Holidays for the purpose of resolving urgent cases
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Logistics:

  • Ensures effective use of own & subcontracted transport.
  • Coordinates with freight handling and clearance agent and ensures correctness of the documentations needed for receiving / dispatching of goods. 
  • Oversees sending and receiving of the goods in accordance with logistical schedules and customers’ expectations.
  • Assists in execution of movement of spare parts, tools and equipment in compliance with local regulations as well as the Corporate Code of Conduct.
  • Achieving high levels of customer satisfactions through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching, and assuring the good quality of goods and adequate quantity of goods.
  • Ensures proper flow of information between store and all other parties involved in the projects, with respect to the tools/equipment/transport arrangements.

Job responsibilities:

  • Set up, adjust, or operate basic or specialized machine tools used to perform precision machining operations.
  • Machine parts to specifications, using machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, or grinders.
  • Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, or materials onto machines.
  • Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
  • Maintain machine tools in proper operational condition
  • Check work pieces to ensure that they are properly lubricated or cooled.

Controls Commissioning Engineer – Abu Dhabi

What are you going to do?

 Execute commissioning activities of control system and instrumentation on turbomachinery and its auxiliary systems worldwide onshore and offshore.

 

As Controls Commissioning Engineer your responsibilities are:

  • Specialist engineer for commissioning of instrumentation and control
  • Able to perform other basic commissioning activities
  • Identify main components of the equipment / system and explain the working / function principle of these parts
  • Read and understand PID`s, drawings and wiring diagrams
  • Supports the customer in all questions related to supplied control systems and instrumentation and their integration in plant controls
  • Works together with other MAN colleagues or Client staff
  • Solving problems if required with support of the MDT headquarters.
  • Perform control system work and needed adjustments during new built or service jobs on turbomachinery and its auxiliary systems
  • Commissioning of field instrumentation calibration check, loop-checks
  • Commissioning of motor control centers, motors, control valves
  • Checking, adjusting and troubleshooting of control systems, remote data transfer systems and other controls equipment
  • Implementation of software modifications in control systems and/or visualization systems according to MDT requirements
  • Check of startup interlock alarm and shut down systems and function check of auxiliaries
  • Hot Commissiong of new built or overhauled rotating equipment 
  • Start up of the turbomachinery and adjust / optimize control functions
  • Supervise test operation and optimize process integration
  • Complete commissioning of installations, including completing of all relevant inspections and checks, liaison with the client and the MAN project managers, and handover of the installation to the customer at completion of commissioning.

    You can help us with these qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Mehcanical engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years turbomachinery controls commissioning experience
  • Commissioned or re-commissioned > 1 different types of control systems
  • Good understanding in rotating machines and  technical drawings.
  • Advanced analytical thinking, independent, punctual, resolute, hands-on mentality, can handle stress and difficult situations in a calm manner.
  • Good communication skills and understands in English in conversation with clients subcontractors and other staff at site.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of relevant commissioning of electro-mechanical, instrumentation, control systems and pressurized systems
  • Hands-on knowledge of DCS, PLC systems and programming of ladder logic, function block or other PLC’s programming language and with good understanding in technical drawing.
  • Commissioned the control system of at least four different auxiliary systems (Lube oil, Control oil DGS etc.) together with the mechanical commissioning engineer.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good analytical skill and decision making.
  • Good ability to accurately convey technical data and information into written reports.
  • Excellent computer literacy (Word, Excel, MS-Project etc.)
  • Prepared to travel worldwide and work at times under difficult conditions.
