Onsite Recovery Machinist

Job responsibilities:
- Set up, adjust, or operate basic or specialized machine tools used to perform precision machining operations.
- Machine parts to specifications, using machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, or grinders.
- Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, or materials onto machines.
- Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
- Maintain machine tools in proper operational condition
- Check work pieces to ensure that they are properly lubricated or cooled.

Sales Coordinator is responsible for managing and improving information flow from customer enquiry to final customer payment. The job holder will be assigned to handle mainly the customer orders and to finalize it on time to ensure accurate invoicing and cash flow. This individual will act as the interface to our customers, suppliers on assigned projects.
As Sales Coordinator you:
- Verifies customer information as per company guideline.
- Places sales quotations for workshop and onboard service jobs by adhere to all MAN compliance guidelines.
- Receives and respond to customer queries.
- Prepares sales orders and cost collection to expedite invoicing.
- Make sure issuance of purchase orders to subcontractors.
- Checks, books of job related travel expenses.
- Coordinates with customers and agents for collection and delivery of reconditioned/overhauled items.
- Sends out inspections and service reports on time.
- Keep close track on WIP (Work In Progress) project codes.
- Reviews orders for completeness according to reporting procedures and coordinate on incomplete orders to complete for further processing.

Mechanical Supervisor

What are you going to do?
The Mechanical Supervisor’s prime duty is to lead and supervise teams of technicians working on client’s site and on turbomachinery equipment’s
As Mechanical Supervisor your main tasks is:
- Acting as Supervisor/Site Manager during the installation of MAN ES supplied equipment up to mechanical completion
- Carry out site tasks on new installations, maintenance and repairing activities on turbo compressors, steam turbines, gas turbines, expanders and other rotating equipments
- Lead and direct field service activities during assignment in line with instructions, schedule and manpower resources
- Disassemble/reassemble rotating equipment on site including recording all the required data and proper marking of all the parts
- Perform service tasks, change rotors, clearance checks, alignment with laser and dial method, hydraulic fitting of coupling
- Responsible for the quality, safety and work performance
- Actively assist with ideas and solutions during trouble shooting or problem solving
- Advises and supports the customer and his personnel in all questions related to the installation and maintenance of equipment
- Complete Quality documentation (assembly records, reading sheets, etc.) as required by the MAN ES quality systems and / or the job instructions
- Work to prescribed clearances / tolerances as dictated by the manufacturer’s specifications or good engineering practice
- At the end of each field service assignment, a report of the job completed is expected as quickly as reasonably possible
- Flexibility to work longer hours, weekends, shifts, etc. to meet with customers scheduling requirements
You can help us with these qualifications:
- Very good knowledge of rotating equipment with at least 5 years experience in rotating equipment (steam turbine, compressors and expanders or gas turbine) with a manufacturer / OEM
- Good reporting skills and reporting any findings in the field in writing.
- Independent, punctual, resolute, hands-on mentality, can handle stress and difficult situations in a calm manner
- Result oriented with strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to understand and communicate fluently in English language

What are you going to do?
Performing Sales / Business Development and Bid management duties on projects involving Rotating Equipment within Segment Industries
As Sales & Application Engineer your main tasks is:
- Business Development activities on Decarbonization and Digitizationstrategy
- Maintains project lists and reports for the sale activities, with the ability to develop himself on following up of new sales and customer and related activities.
- Bid follow up and clarification in view of scope of supply, technical, delivery and costs.
- Selection of the compressor technical concept.
- Coordination of bid preparation within the scope of the project engineering, internally and externally with customers and sub-suppliers.
- Independent leading of the project. (Follow up of the enquiry and preparation of offer for enquiries and negotiations up to the completion of the project.)
- Prepares technical proposals and cost estimates / Budgets which include design engineering and calculation of the complete package with the primary focus on the oil & gas turbo machinery applications.
- Review customer’s inquiry package and instruction to bidders
- Evaluate customer specifications and data sheets and interpret data to advise sales and develop technical quotation, technical drawings, schematics and reports
- Coordinate with factory for scope split on factory supplied components and locally supplied components
- Issue request for quotations for all auxiliaries and buy-out components
- Respond to questions and clarifications from customer subsequent to proposal submission
- Coordinate any post proposal questions to sub suppliers and to obtain revised quotes
- Participate in pre-bid, bid review, technical clarifications and kickoff meetings
- Co-ordinate all activities with sales force
- Make sales calls with regional sales managers and participate in all bid and technical clarifications meetings
- Participate in Lunch and learn at the customers’ site
- Responsible for the development and achievement of sales goals, plans and activities of the related BU products/services in assigned territory.
- Plans approach that will convince customers to do business with the company.
- Develops a rapport with existing / new clients and to support on setting targets for sales and support that will continually improve the relationship.

In ELU department, we are every day striving to improve MAN Energy Solution products on behalf of our customers, Design and R&D departments, licensees, ship-owners and engine operators.
The highly agile business model applied at Low Speed Engineering/R&D has made ELU department feedback and knowledge an indispensable and vital part in the development and design of the most cutting edge Two-Stroke marine diesel engines in the world, and ELU staff are widely considered having second-to-none Two-Stroke operational knowledge.
In Engine Support, we harvest and develop this knowledge in many ways, among other things by participating in R&D tests, TATs and FATs at licensees, supporting shipyards during quay and sea trials, and supporting ship-owners and operators in guarantee and extended guarantee periods world-wide. One of the most important tools in maintaining and building this world class knowledge is local presence at hot spots where our products pass by most frequently. Job responsibilities:
- Superintendent Engineer is responsible for his team, his own work tasks as required by seniors time to time in accordance with assigned responsibilities
- Supervises and leads team of service engineers & technicians, skilled labour, and work crews in all activities concerned with field engineering works aspects
- Ability to prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Competent in reading, understanding and interpreting specifications, drawings, and all other engineering related documentation.
- Familiar with and enforces strict compliance with all Engineering Standards, QA/QC and Safety procedures, plus all Company rules and regulations.
- Develops excellent working relationships with all other department personnel as well as client management. .
