  • Coordinating project schedules, resources, equipment and information
  • Liaising with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives
  • Ensuring that clients’ needs are met as the project evolves

You can help us with these qualifications:

  • 5 + years of related Estimation & project coordinator experience, preferably in the Shipyard or heavy equipment manufacturing / machines
  • Detailed understanding of the business both technical and commercial levels
  • Technical Knowledge

  • Responsible for processing of spare parts enquiries, which includes floating enquires to suppliers, preparing offers to customers and creating purchase orders to suppliers.
  • Processes service related spare parts orders & engine components
  • Preparation of sales quotations for workshop, onboard service and spare parts by adhering to all MAN compliance guidelines.
  • Follow ups, coordinates with logistics department and suppliers for timely delivery of spare parts and engine components
  • Coordinates with MAN ES Product HQ’s
  • Analyzes sales activities and customers enquiries and prepare reports periodically

  • Representation and promotion of MAN products and services to current and potential clients in the respective country.
  • Actively identify customer needs, generate leads, clarify technical and commercial questions based on the documentation available

  • Seasoned sales management experience  with 10+ years of related experience, preferably in the same industry

  • Engineering degree (university) or equivalent technical background.
  • Commercial Background preferably MBA will be considered additional qualification

  • Superintendent Engineer is responsible for his team, his own work tasks as required by seniors time to time in accordance with assigned responsibilities
  • Supervises and leads team of service engineers & technicians, skilled labour, and work crews in all activities concerned with field engineering works aspects
  • Ability to prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Competent in reading, understanding and interpreting specifications, drawings, and all other engineering related documentation.
  • Familiar with and enforces strict compliance with all Engineering Standards, QA/QC and Safety procedures, plus all Company rules and regulations.
  • Develops excellent working relationships with all other department personnel as well as client management. .
  • Liaise with other staff to ensure the optimum interface of the various operational activities, with the overall objective of successful completion of the maintenance / service activities and projects.
  • Planning, monitoring and tracking of maintenance projects and daily progress and work completed, comparing planned to actual. Takes appropriate mitigating action to ensure compliance with the plan, based on knowledge of available manpower, equipment, materials, and in cooperation with planning engineer and project management.  
  • Ensures that the staff understands and implements the engineering aspects of the work plan, by explaining and engaging in pro‐active communication with the crews.
  • Identifies and implements “on‐the‐job” training programs with the aim of developing and improving team members’ competency in required skills and abilities.
  • Being an expert, responsible to manages complex field service missions
  • Develops special solutions for his / her field of activity
  • Develops, designs and implements overall field service strategies with cross company implications

Sales Coordinator (Propulsion System)

We can offer you the following tasks:

1.  Email (general)

  • Distribute emails from regional common mailboxes
  • Instruct IGC and Customers to send all email correspondence to common mailboxes

2.  Pre-processing

  • Maintain frequent contact with IGC/customers
  • Identification/verification of Customer/IMO information
  • Prescreen request from customers for identification of project sales (Initials Spares, Retrofit etc.)
  • Create quotes and orders (insert customer master details, requested positions via engine structure, sales history or basket)
  • Estimate delivery time, replacements and shipping costs
  • Follow-up on SAP workflows with supply chain
  • Archive sales documents/correspondence

     

    3.  Post-processing

  • Request for improved delivery time with supply chain
  • Respond to subsequent issues (i.e. shipping instructions/details)
  • Follow-up on SAP workflows with purchasing and shipping dept.
  • Follow Daily Routines and instructions.

     

    4.  Travel and admin

    • Participate in One-2-one and MUS with team leader
    • Participate in MAN courses
    • Contribute to development and implementation of strategic initiatives
    • Comply with sales manager guidelines, general HR guidelines and general MAN processes

  • Knowledge of SAP/R3.

  • Set up, adjust, or operate basic or specialized machine tools used to perform precision machining operations.
  • Machine parts to specifications, using machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, or grinders.
  • Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, or materials onto machines.
  • Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
  • Maintain machine tools in proper operational condition
  • Check work pieces to ensure that they are properly lubricated or cooled.

  • Diploma / ITI in relevant areas preferably Marine / Mechanical /Automobile
  • Comparable vocational education with longtime related work experience or equal
