Sales Manager

Job Purpose:

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving sustainable sales growth, expanding Everllence (MAN Energy Solutions)’ market presence, and managing key customer relationships within the marine, energy, and industrial sectors in Singapore. The role entails strategic sales planning, proactive business development, and customer-centric selling of Everllence PrimeServ’s products and services. Working closely with the internal functions and regional teams, the incumbent plays a key role in achieving commercial targets, nurturing a high-performance sales culture, and enhancing customer satisfaction across the aftermarket business.

Key Responsiblities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with Everllence (MAN Energy Solutions)' business goals and growth targets.
  • Identify key market segments, customer needs, and service opportunities to optimize sales focus and resource allocation.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer developments to refine positioning and approach.
  • Establish and strengthen long-term relationships with key clients, shipowners, operators, OEM partners, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary commercial contact, ensuring responsive service and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Lead contract negotiations and ensure successful deal closures in line with company policies and margin expectations.
  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities to expand the customer base and increase market penetration.
  • Conduct market research and customer profiling to identify service upgrade, retrofit, and lifecycle solution prospects.
  • Deliver customer-specific solutions by collaborating with product managers, technical support, and field service teams.
  • Prepare and deliver impactful sales presentations and technical-commercial proposals.
  • Support the Sales Team Lead in coaching, mentoring, and guiding less experienced sales colleagues.
  • Share market intelligence, best practices, and lessons learned to uplift overall sales effectiveness.
  • Contribute to a performance-oriented and collaborative team environment.
  • Track and report sales pipeline, activities, and opportunities via the company’s CRM platform (e.g., SBO, Salesforce).
  • Prepare and maintain accurate forecasts and business reports to support management reviews and decision-making.
  • Analyze sales performance metrics, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
  • Work closely with operations, engineering, procurement, logistics, and finance teams to ensure seamless order execution and post-sales support.
  • Ensure timely handover of projects to the execution and service delivery teams, with clear documentation and expectations.
  • Actively support contract risk assessments, internal approval processes, and compliance with Everllence governance standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Marine Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Professional training in Sales Management, Negotiation, or Business Development is an advantage.
  • Proficient in English (spoken and written); additional language(s) beneficial.
  • Willingness to travel within Singapore and APAC as required.
  • Fresh graduate is welcome.
