Field Service Coordinator

We can offer you the following tasks:

  • Handle all administrative, technical and commercial work in connection with the delegation of Field Service personnel.
  • Prepare, delegate and instruct on all ongoing site activities Cost and Claims calculation for Field Service projects.
  • Ensure that all work done in the field is clearly reported and documented
  • Draw up the specifications for any needed site subcontractors for installation/commissioning personnel
  • Evaluation of subcontractors quotation and select qualified subcontractors for Field Service work all in collusion with the Field Service pool
  • Coordination & communication among all parties involved in the field service activities. Arrange and lead the kick-off/pre-installation meeting as well as follow up site inspections.
  • Arrange, review and compile all the necessary documentation and work instructions for the Field Service staff to complete planned activities safely, including Risk Assessments and HSE assessments.
  • Arrange with Global Organization MAN ES Pools for Field Service staff exchange.
  • Arrange for the necessary consumables, tooling, lifting and other needed equipment.
  • Arrange and perform the briefing and the de-briefing meetings with the delegated Field Service personnel.
  • Technical & administrative Support of the Field Service personnel during their site assignments.
  • Ensure that all work done in the field is clearly reported and documented.
  • Cost control and financial completion for each Field Service project.
  • Complete Field Service Quality documentation as required by the MAN Industries quality systems
  • Regular reporting in writing to the management of all activities, commercial, technical and personnel issues.

 

 

You can help us with these qualifications:

  • At least 5 years practical experience on rotating equipment (steam turbines, compressors, and expanders)
  • Knowledge of local technical standards and directives
  • Familiarity & knowledge of turbomachinery
  • Certified Project/contract Manager or similar training

     

  • Graduate from Senior High School or graduate from Apprentice training or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • Very good knowledge of Rotating Equipment (steam turbines, compressors and expanders)
  • Experience in reading drawings, technical documents, instructions, sketches/explanation of details and cross sectional drawings.
  • Fluency in English
  • Good Computer Knowledge (MS Office, MS Project)

Sales Support / Order Management Intern

What are you going to do?

  • Verifies customer information as per company guideline.
  • Creates and organizes Sales quotations, finds technical and commercial solutions to meet customer expectations. Clarification of the scope and content of the project as well as clarification of detailed questions, if necessary, with the corresponding contact partners in the specialist departments.
  • Preparing & Arranging the Quotes for spares, Revamps, Services, Sales Order generation, Order confirmations, and communication with suppliers and clients.
  • Bid-coordination between customers, Regional Centers & Product Centers
  • Receives and respond to customer queries.
  • Conducting of inquiries according to the procurement guidelines of MAN..
  • Places sales quotations for workshop, Revamps, Services & and spares by adhering to all MAN compliance guidelines.
  • Assisting Sales in building up customer relationships and follow up of the bidding process until the conclusion of the contract
  • Prepare cost collection to expedite invoicing.
  • Make sure issuance of purchase orders to subcontractors.
  • Coordinates with customers and agents for collection and delivery of reconditioned/overhauled items and spares
  • Sends out inspections and service reports on time.
  • Keep close track on WIP (Work In Progress) project codes.
  • Reviews orders for completeness according to reporting procedures and coordinate on incomplete orders to complete for further processing.
  • Ensures proper documentation on each project.
  • Own the coordination and follow-up for frequent ad hoc data requests from Suppliers/ Customers.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Administration Officer /PRO

Job Purpose

The purpose of the role is to establish a professional working relationship, a good rapport between the Governing bodies of the Oman and MAN Energy Solutions Muscat LLC; it is also to make sure that all requirements relating to the immigration services and current legislation, regulations, are up to date and legal. Obtaining, updating, renewing trade licensing, establishment cards, vehicle registrations etc, so that they are valid and are compliant with current Oman Laws.

As the Public Relations Officer (PRO) for Muscat and Sur Offices, you will be required to conduct, manage the administration surrounding all aspects of the Government Related aspects of the role, whilst making sure that the work is spread evenly between the two organizations. You will liaise with the Human Resources Manager to maintain continuity of standards regarding employment visa issues.

 

 

What are you going to do?

  • Maintaining an overview and preparing employee Claims report in Sur Location Local and job related expenses. 
  • Maintaining an overview and preparing Overtime claim for Sur Employees
  • Purchase request in Sap and Namos  for spare parts ,uniform and other Items required according to the jobs.
  • Arranging Training license by looking for more feasible quotation and coordinating with the HR for arrangement.
  • Supervising and maintaining Company vehicle.
  • Manage the tracking system for all Employment Visa’s throughout the organization
  • Oversee all Employment Visa/Labor card Issues; Applications/Cancellations/Stamping/Renewals/Transit Visa
  • Arranging Visa Medicals for new employee’s and renewals; assisting in the full process
  • Employment Visa documentation Management
  • Obtain Visit Visa’s/Transit Visa for the company on an “ad hoc” basis
  • Keep a database of company trade license, establishment cards and renew as and when required
  • Handle all aspects of any Government related websites
  • Get regular updates/changes of legislation from Immigration/Government bodies and relay the information back to the Human Resources Department
  • Assist Employees as they exit the country (i.e. visa cancellation)
  • Keeping a track of employees’ visa’s expiration date, labor cards
  • Provide HR administration support when required

 

 

 

You can help us with these qualifications:

  • Very good oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a government liaison role/PRO in the Oman
  • College graduate, preferably Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong background of Oman Labour law
  • Proficient typing skills in English and Arabic.
  • High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively particularly with local government bodies.
  • Knowledge and experience on the portal system usage (Immigration and Free zone)
