Responsibilities and tasks:  

Strategy

• Identify Market trends, market drivers and unique selling preposition for revamps/footprints in alignment with IGC/Hub FrontEnd  Sales team to prioritize markets/customers/products
• Develop regional strategy for complex projects
• Monitor and follow-up on strategy implementation actions. Adjust as needed to secure sustainable complex project business.
• Systematic fleet analysis for standard ”revamps” such as I&C upgrades and barrel revamps etc.
• Plan and support marketing related activities (roadshow, TurboForum, PRACTICE visits) for complex projects as part of IGC marketing plan
  

Sales

• Lead Pre-Bid Phase (identify lead, develop value preposition, budgetary quote, Bid/no-bid decision). First Contact for complex projects queries in the region
• Provides value based target pricing and challenge cost estimates and performance to ensure positive customer business case (ROI)
• Authorized and responsible for Go/no-Go and Bid/no-Bid decision in alignment with PC
• Organizes and supports quotations on local IGC scope (if needed takes lead)
• Regional coordination between IGC, CoC and PC
• Funnel management
• Approval- and signature competence within the rules and regulations
• Technical Sales training and guidance of FrontEnd Sales teams in IGC/Hubs
  

Project Management

• Oversees the Project Management for complex projects
• Ensures proper project management set-up with clear DoR between IGC & PC is in place and matches contractual obligations
• Selects the process to be followed
  

Qualifications:

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical background
• Commercial Background preferably MBA
• Extensive knowledge on retrofit and footprint portfolio of MAN ES PrimeServ Industries
• Understand and gain knowledge about the Balance of Plant equipment, customer base and applicable sales processes
• This position is based in Shanghai, China.

• Support local company and direct customers with order status
• Provide support to the retrofit sales managers
• Assist the project managers in execution of orders
• Be the link between Sales Manager and Project Manager

Required Qualifications:
• Diploma/ Higher Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering/ business administration or relevant field with min. 3 years of working experience, preferably with knowledge of marine engine products
• Excellent English language skills both speaking and writing
• Possess sales foundations, service minded, professional credibility
• Experience with SAP and SAP processes

Job Requirements: 

• The Mechanical Field Engineer’s duty is to execute field service work, onshore and offshore as instructed by the MAN/ Everllence supervisor.
• Carry out tasks on new installations, maintenance and repairing activities on turbo compressors, steam turbines, expanders and other rotating equipment as instructed by the Supervisor/Site Manager
• To coordinate the working sites with clients, team members and subcontractors.
• In the absence of Supervisor, independently take over and carry out temporarily the leading tasks at site
• Able to perform service tasks, change bearings, measuring bearing clearances, change couplings, carry out alignment by using dial gauge indicators
• Disassemble/ reassemble rotating equipment on site including recording all the required data and proper marking of all the parts
• Ensure that all findings and work is clearly reported in writing
• Responsible for the quality, safety and work performance

   

  Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree/ higher diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline with experience > 5 years in rotating equipment (turbo compressor, steam turbine and expander)
• Malaysian nationality only, must possess Sabahan ID
• Very good knowledge of Rotating Equipment (compressors, steam turbine and expanders)
• Experience in reading technical documents, instructions, sketches/explanation of details and cross sectional drawings
• Good reporting skills and reporting any findings in the field in writing
• Skill and understands how to use measuring tools like dial indicator, Vernier caliper and micrometer.
• Advanced analytical thinking, independent, punctual, resolute, hands-on mentality, can handle stress and difficult situations in a calm manner
• Good communication skills and understands in English in conversation with clients subcontractors and other staff at site
• Prepared to travel and work under sometimes difficult conditions

Job Requirements: 

• Provide mechanical technical service installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, overhauls and modernization for engines and turbochargers manufactured by the company and affiliated companies on seagoing vessels and power plants.
• Provide mechanical technical advice; provide training and service program information including follow-up to previously visited vessels as well as engine related support to our customers.
• Trouble shooting and pinpointing of mechanical failures of two-stroke and four-stroke engines
• Performing of repairs and execution of retrofits on existing installations
• Advising of repairs mechanical wise
• Create service report on executed works with final conclusion
• Professional / technical development
• Attend engine quay trial and sea trials according to procedures to ensure engine performs as designed
• Sub-con engine follow up at shipyards
• Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in marine or mechanical engineering or related engineering field. 5 or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Malaysian nationality only, must possess Sabahan ID
    • Good knowledge of mechanical systems in diesel engines 
    • Deep knowledge of 2-stroke engines and possibly turbochargers and propellers
    • Team player; able to maintain good relations with colleagues and customers
    • Experienced in working independently
    • Experienced and able to handle intensive travelling via car, train, plane, launch boat, and in extreme cases on helicopter in short notice
