Sales Manager ( Based in Libya )

What you should know about us:

We can offer you the following tasks:

  • Follow up business activities in Libya (New Sales and After-sales activities)
  • Frequent visits to customer offices and site locations
  • Report Market trends and information about new projects or opportunities in the market
  • Support MAN ES sales or technical teams when visiting customers in Libya
  • Promote MAN ES products and services in the Libyan Market with existing and new customers
  • Follow up inquiries, orders, orders’   progress and payments with Libyan customers
  • Working jointly as a team member with the regional and head office teams

You can help us with these qualifications:

  • B. Science in Engineering 
  • Libyan National and full time based in Libya 
  • Master in Arabic and English language
  • Knowledge of Rotating Equipment (steam turbine, compressors and expanders)  
  • 5-10 years experience (most preferably in sales & customer support) in the Libyan Oil & Gas market  
  • Familiar with Libyan business Laws and customers' processes  
  • Knowledge of financial topics such as bank guarantees, payment terms, letter of credit, local taxation,…  
  • Ability to mobilize to visit customer offices and sites in Libya
  • Independent, punctual, resolute, hands-on mentality, can handle stress and difficult situations in a calm manner.  
  •  Prepared to travel worldwide.

Instrument & Controls Engineer ( Algeria )

We can offer you the following tasks:

  • Specialist engineer for commissioning of instrumentation and control

    systems for units with extensive controls

  • Identify main components of the equipment / system and explain the working / function principle of these parts
  • Understand the purpose and function of all field instrumentation
  • Read and understand PID`s, drawings and wiring diagrams
  • Supports the customer in all questions related to supplied control systems and instrumentation and their integration in plant controls
  • Works together with Mechanical Commissioning Engineer
  • Documentation and reporting on all site work done related to controls
  • Solving problems if required with support of the MAN headquarters.
  • Perform basic control system work and needed adjustments during service & overhauls on turbomachinery and its auxiliary systems
  • Adjustment of transmitters, positioners, PLC`s etc.
  • Change / replace instruments, transmitters, controllers etc.
  • Carry out changes to the control system
  • In the position to make meaningful decisions even in complex situations and with incomplete information
  • Commissioning of field instrumentation calibration check, loop-checks
  • Commissioning of motor control centres, motors, control valves
  • Checking, adjusting and trouble shooting of control systems, remote data transfer systems and other controls equipment
  • Implementation of software modifications in control systems and/or visualisation systems according to MAN requirements
  • Check of start up interlock alarm and shut down systems (engine protection) together with the mechanical commissioning engineer.

You can help us with these qualifications:

  • Alegrian National and residing in Algeria
  • Expereince 5+ years in working in the field.
  • Flexibility to travel to perform overseas assignment when needed
  • Advanced analytical thinking, independent, punctual, resolute, hands-on mentality, can handle stress and difficult situations in a calm manner.
  • Good communication skills and understands Arabic, English and French in conversation with clients subcontractors and other staff at site.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of relevant commissioning of electro-mechanical, instrumentation, control systems and pressurized systems
  • Hands-on knowledge of DCS, PLC systems and programming of ladder logic, function block or other PLC’s programming language and with good understanding in technical drawing.
  • Commissioned the control system of at least four different auxiliary systems (Lube oil, Control oil DGS etc.) together with the mechanical commissioning engineer.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good analytical skill and decision making.
  • Good ability to accurately convey technical data and information into written reports.
  • Excellent computer literacy (Word, Excel, MS-Project etc.)

Prepared to travel world wide and work at times under difficult conditions.

Sales Coordinator

What you should know about us:

We can offer you the following tasks:

  • Handle customer queries.
  • Prepare sales quotations for workshop, onboard service and spare parts by adhering to all MAN ES compliance guidelines and related offers to customers timely and accurately.
  • Process equipment and service enquiries and purchase orders to suppliers; verify invoices from vendors.
  • Coordinate with logistics department, freight companies and suppliers for timely delivery of equipment and services.
  • Control delivery dates in sales orders through coordination with product centers.
  • Plan, organize and execute marketing events such as trade shows and customer seminars. Coordinate event logistics, including registration and attendee tracking, presentation and materials support and pre- and post-event evaluations. Provide on-site event support.
  • Support communications projects in the areas of advertising and promotional programs, public relations and trade shows, including Internet-based communications.
  • Prepare materials for internal and external presentations on products, business plans and management communications.
  • Complete special projects by organizing and coordinating information and requirements; planning, arranging, and monthly meeting schedules; monitoring results.
  • Support achievement of financial objectives by anticipating requirements; submitting information for budget preparation; monitoring costs; analyzing variances.
  • Check & book job related travel expenses.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions.
  • Perform other routine administrative activities according to the established procedures such as answering telephones, taking messages, distributing incoming mail, preparing outgoing mail, photocopying, filing, operating office equipment and maintaining office supplies or other inventory.

You can help us with these qualifications:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Egypt National will be given preference

The job is for our newly established workshop in Sokhna. First 3 months will be based in Cairo office for orientation.
